Welcome

Hi, I’m Nora, a workers’ rights advocate and practitioner. I partner with organisations of all kinds to strengthen corporate human rights due diligence – from meaningful dialogue to practical change.

My work is rooted in the UN Guiding Principles on Business & Human Rights and extensive experience putting them into practice. For around ten years I have worked with a wide range of global companies, civil society organisations, government bodies, and multi-stakeholder initiatives, with a particular focus on consumer goods supply chains.

Across these roles and perspectives, I have seen how entrenched differences, mistrust, and misunderstandings between stakeholders can get in the way of actually improving people’s lives. Through lines & dots, I collaborate – and help others collaborate – to change this. I believe in challenging conventional, tick-box HRDD, and in the possibility of incremental shifts in business behaviour alongside wider systemic change.

Currently, I’m engaged in work on system changes for workers’ rights – i.e. in UK seafood value chains, and in circular textiles.
I’m always happy to connect and exchange ideas, so feel free to reach out.
